PROJECT OVERVIEW

With a rich history stretching back to 1896 the University of Salford is a large university with approximately 19,000 students based on various campuses across the city of Salford, in Greater Manchester. The city of Salford has been undergoing massive changes with an extensive regeneration scheme and the university has joined in these improvements. Currently undergoing a £130 million development the university plans on renovating existing locations, erecting new modern buildings and investing in new facilities.

The latest major project has been successfully completed at the School of Nursing in its new purpose built four-storey building. The School of Nursing is the largest nursing training college in the United Kingdom, working in partnership with the NHS and different independent and voluntary health care organisations across Britain. The School of Nursing currently has 700 students commencing education each year.
