Elite System Integrator programme
|
|
Case Study: Newcastle airport
|
|
Cylon has introduced its Elite System Integrator programme in the United
Kingdom as a key part of re-structuring our partner channel in this
market. We have become the largest independent manufacturer of building
controls in the UK and we are aware of the importance of partnering
with top tier system integrators. Our premier partners' extensive knowledge,
expertise and specialist skills serve to provide our customers with
building management solutions adapted to their needs and bring enhanced
value to larger projects. Cylon has already been involved in a variety
of large scale projects in the United Kingdom such as Canary Wharf,
Newcastle International Airport and Microsoft European Headquarters
in Reading.

|
|
Newcastle
International Airport is the North region's largest airport in the UK.
It handles over five million passengers a year and offers a large choice
of 85 destinations worldwide including Dubai and Perth in Australia.
Cylon's Building Energy Management System was installed in Newcastle
airport by our Elite System Integrator, Astral Control Services. This
ongoing phased project involves the replacement of obsolete equipment
without any disruption of this large airport's operations. Cylon provided
Newcastle airport with enhanced integration of systems and forward compatibility
with new technologies to protect their investment in our product.

this strategy, Cylon is pleased to announce the opening of the new Cylon

Case Study: Elm Green Nursing Home
|
|
Cylon becomes a CIBSE patron
|
|
Elm Green nursing home in Dublin is a 3 storey building including 100-bed
facility, 15 staff apartments and 27 independent living units. The building's
cost effective heating and hot water technologies include a solar system,
air to water heat pumps, a micro-Combined Heat and Power (CHP) unit
and condensing gas boilers. The Cylon BEMS was installed in the nursing
home by TR Controls, our Approved System Integrator. The Cylon solution
controls and monitors the heating and hot water systems, displays real-time
information on any non-BEMS computer and sends an alarm via SMS or email
to the person in charge when a problem occurs. The building's energy
efficiency is greatly improved while the occupants comfort is maintained
at all times.

|
|
The
Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) supports
and sets best practice standards for the building services engineering
in the United Kingdom, Europe and worldwide. The CIBSE patrons scheme
was created 30 years ago. It allows professionals from the building
services industry to work together, in collaboration with the institution
and bring their expertise in order to strengthen this industry. Cylon
Controls joined the CIBSE patron's network this year. Cylon offers its
Building Energy Management Systems expertise to help improve building
energy efficiency and thus considerably reduce carbon emissions.
