The SiteGuide menu structure is flexible facilitating the creation of
simplified building specific interfaces for the end user. The graphical
datalog capability of SiteGuide really makes use of the full 7 inch

Cylon
provides a smart energy management solution for hotels, ensuring client
comfort while actively working to reduce hotels' energy bill. Indeed,
Cylon now offers an integration solution 'in a box' with the leading
computer reservation system in hotels, the OPERA Reservation System
from Micros (Fidelio). Energy savings are achieved by having rooms at
lower energy setback when rooms are not booked. A digital signal is
picked up from the reservation system when the room is checked in. The
Cylon BEMS then puts the room into comfort conditions. Up to 2,000 rooms
can be handled using a single gateway.

UCU12 fancoil controller released
|
|
CPD Seminar with MCE & Ninewells
|
|
Cylon
Controls have released an energy efficient fan coil controller, the
UCU12. Manufacturers of fan coil units have replaced the traditional
three speed AC motor in their units with a DC motor whose speed is controlled
by a 0 to 10V input on the motor itself. This results in better control
of the motor speed and ensures that only the necessary amount of energy
is used by the Fan Coil Unit. Cylon Controls have released the UCU12
to respond to this market need. With 6 inputs available, the UCU12 can
monitor more sensors than traditional fan coil controllers. Alongside
the room temperature, set point, and motor speed inputs the user can
also connect CO2 (Carbon Dioxide), outside temperature, wind speed &
other active sensors.
